Alpine County Local Transportation Commission Region-wide Study of Roadway Safety

The Alpine County Local Transportation Commission is participating with the transportation planning agencies in Amador and Calaveras counties on a region-wide study of roadway safety – officially called a “Systematic Safety Analysis Report (SSAR).  The goal of this Systemic Safety Analysis is to identify safety measures that could prevent life threatening crashes on local roads and the state highways in our region.

You have an opportunity to provide direct input into the study  - visit the web link at the end of this news flash to get more information about the study and find another link to provide your input on roadway safety within the 3-county area.
Please use the link on the website to provide input – it will greatly help us collect all the comments.

Funding for this project comes from the State of California and the transportation planning agencies in the 3 counties.
