Biomass Pile / Fuels Reduction
Biomass PileThe next Biomass (Burn) Pile  / Fuels Reduction Collection is due to be held in the spring of 2017.  Please check back in March for further information.

The drop off area is divided into two piles one for mixed vegetation and the other for pine needles, grasses and leaves.  Thank you for your assistance in sorting materials, which contributes to cost savings.

The Biomass Pile is typically held twice a year, in the spring and fall for Alpine County residents and is free of charge. The event is provided by Alpine County Department of Public Works in cooperation with Eastern Alpine Fire / Rescue and Alpine Fire Safe Council.
