Biomass Pile / Fuels Reduction
Biomass PileThe Fall 2017 Biomass (Burn) Pile will be held on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, SEPTEMBER 16 through Sunday, OCTOBER 22, weather permitting.

The drop off area is divided into two piles one for mixed vegetation and the other for pine needles, grasses and leaves.  Thank you for your assistance in sorting materials, which contributes to cost savings.

The Biomass Pile is typically held twice a year, in the spring and fall for Alpine County residents and is free of charge. The event is provided by Alpine County Department of Public Works in cooperation with Eastern Alpine Fire / Rescue and Alpine Fire Safe Council.
