Alpine County Burn / Biomass Pile Fall 2023 Opens This Saturday

Biomass (Burn) Pile Flyer Fall 2023

Accepted Materials: Natural vegetation, shrubs, branches, limbs, pine needles, grasses, leaves

Not Accepted: Stumps, treated wood, wood with nails, non-vegetation items, rocks, dirt, cement, construction debris and

construction site clearing debris, trash, garbage, household waste, furniture, tires, recyclable items, metals,

appliances, plastics, batteries, oil, vehicles, paint, solvents, anti-freeze, paint thinners, cleaning fluids, aerosol cans, pesticides, insecticides.

Please note that burned vegetation will not be accepted at the Burn Pile. Thank you for your assistance in sorting materials.

The Biomass (Burn) Pile is held for Alpine County residents free of charge. This event is provided by Alpine County Community Development in cooperation with Eastern Alpine Fire/Rescue and Alpine Fire Safe Council.
