Technical Advisory Committee

The Technical Advisory Committee has been established by the County Subdivision Ordinance No. 433-83, Section 9; Rules and Bylaws of the Alpine County Planning Commission, Section 8; the County Environmental Impact Report Resolution No. 73-93, Article 2, Paragraph 8; and as set forth in the County Board of Supervisors minutes of January 31, 1974, Page 2, Line 20.

OBJECTIVES: To carry out the duties specified by law; to conduct studies and report on matters referred for action by the Board of Supervisors and/or the Planning Commission; and generally to assist and advise the Board of Supervisors, the Planning Commission and the public in technical matters pertaining to County Planning so as to protect, conserve and promote the public health, safety, comfort, convenience, environmental and the general welfare of Alpine County.

Committee members: county planning director (chair), county director of transportation (vice-chair), county surveyor, county engineer, county building official, and county environmental health specialist or their designated representatives.
