Per Government Code '27130, '27131, and '27132 the committee was established March 19, 1996. Committee members shall be nominated by the Treasurer and confirmed by the Board of Supervisors. Size of the committee shall be determined by the Treasurer in consultation with the Board of Supervisors. Committee categories: County Treasurer (Chair), County Auditor-Controller, representative from the Board of Supervisors (finance committee member), County Superintendent of Schools or designee and public member.
