With the snow, the pile burns in Pleasant Valley have completed. All piles were addressed and any linger hot spots will be mopped up in the coming week. Smoke impacts from Pleasant Valley should be non-existent.
On Monday, January 8th the large piles at the top of the hill by the water tank on Pleasant Valley Road will be burned. The public and residents are asked to avoid the area for their safety and the safety of the fire crews. Personnel and apparatus will be in the area monitoring the burn throughout the day.
Smoke may linger into the evening and early morning on Tuesday. Impacts are expected to be minor.
