Alpine County voters passed Local Ballot Measure G in last November’s election.
Passage of Measure G raises the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) from 10% to 14% upon visitors of vacation home rentals, hotels, motels, and similar facilities in Alpine County of rent charged to the visitor. The new rate is effective January 1st, 2025.
