PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED ALLOCATION BY THE ALPINE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS FOR USE OF
TITLE III FUNDING PROVIDED UNDER HR-2389
The Alpine County Board of Supervisors is proposing to allocate funds in the following amounts under the Reauthorization of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self Determination Act and projected amounts (subject to funding): Alpine Fire Safe Council in the amount of $10,000; Bear Valley Community in the amount of $20,000; Kirkwood Firewise Community $10,000; and Alpine County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue operations in the amount of $9,713.76. Information regarding this program can be found on the Alpine County website www.alpinecountyca.gov.
The 45-day comment period is open through July 25, 2025. The final plans will be considered and adopted by the Board of Supervisors after the 45-day comment period. This notice is provided according to Section 302 of PL 110-343.
