PUBLIC NOTICE ALPINE COUNTY
AUDIT AND FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
A meeting of the Alpine County Audit and Finance Committee will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the Temporary County Administration Building, 50 Diamond Valley Road, Woodfords, CA.
Members of the committee: Treasurer-Auditor, Senior Financial Officer, Donald M. Jardine (District 1 Supervisor), Mary Rawson (District 5 Supervisor)
AGENDA
1. Call to order regular meeting: 3:00 p.m.
2. Request selection of Chair for calendar year 2014.
3. Oral Communication: General Public Comment
This portion of the meeting is an opportunity for members of the public to address the Alpine County Audit and Finance Committee Meeting. No action can be taken on items not appearing on the agenda.
4. New Business:
a. Establish future committee meeting dates.
b. Review existing county credit card-procurement policy and discuss need for revisions.
c. Review existing county procurement ordinance and discuss need for revisions.
d. Discuss FY 2015 Budget Process and Calendar
e. Discuss recommended best practices in governmental budgeting and fiscal policy.
f. Discuss Board of Supervisors professional development budget with comparisons to actual results from previous years.
g. After discussion, list and rank topics of discussion for future committee meetings.
5. Adjournment: The Committee will adjourn to the next scheduled meeting. Date to be determined.
