Mandatory evacuations are in place for the following areas: Grover Hot Springs, Shay Creek, Markleevillage, Markleeville, Carson River Resort, & Poor Boy Road area, Wolf Creek Campground and surrounding areas. Silver Creek Campground is under a voluntary evacuation but conditions may change fast. Turtle Rock Campground and all remote camping is closed. Please avoid Markleeville and surrounding areas to allow emergency personnel to do their jobs. EVACUATION CENTER is the Early Learning Center located at 100 Foothill Road.
