CALIFORNIA WASTE RECOVERY SYSTEMS, LLC (CAL-WASTE) NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED RATE INCREASE Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at or about 10:30 a.m. on May 20, 2025, by the Alpine County Board of Supervisors, at the Alpine County Government Center, 99 Water Street, Markleeville, California. The rate adjustment is based on the Water and Sewer and Trash Collection Services Index (CUSR0000SEHG), as established by the United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics for the preceding 12-month period. The resulting adjustment of these calculations is a proposed rate increase of 3.85%, which would be effective July 1, 2025. The public hearing will be held during the regular meeting of the Alpine County Board of Supervisors on May 20, 2025, at 10:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at the Alpine County Government Center, Board Chambers, 99 Water St, Markleeville, California. Members of the public are invited to attend the public hearing.
