The Alpine County biomass disposal site at Turtle Rock Park opens for the fall season on August 23rd. It will be open on Saturdays' Sundays, and Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm until October 26th. This site is for local residents and landowners to dispose of biomass materials created in maintaining defensible space around homes in Alpine County. Accepted materials are natural vegetation, shrubs, branches, limbs, pine needles and leaves. Thank you for your assistance in sorting materials.
