We invite you to participate in an upcoming workshop focused on the future of forest health and natural resource collaboration in the Alpine County community. Your voice is essential in shaping a path forward that reflects the values and priorities of Alpine County. We hope you will join us in this important conversation and help ensure the final report reflects the collective insight of our community.
Alpine County received grant funding from Sierra Nevada Conservancy to complete a stakeholder assessment report. The goal is to identify key issues and meaningful pathways forward for stakeholder collaboration in forest health and natural resource efforts. Sierra Institute for Community and Environment conducted a series of interviews with a diverse range of county residents and stakeholders. Environmental, social, economic, and tribal concerns and issues are identified and discussed in the report. During the workshop, we will review the report’s key findings, major takeaways, and proposed recommendations.
