Alpine County, in partnership with the Alpine Fire Safe Council, is pleased to announce the resumption of the curbside chipping program within the Woodfords and Markleeville communities. Starting the week of April 22nd, residents can contact the Alpine Fire Safe Council to sign up for chipping services every Thursday of each week. Materials to be chipped must meet specific criteria, see the attached flyer for descriptions and example photographs. Chipped materials will be broadcast back onto the property.
